Mental Health is becoming less and less of a taboo for men to talk and deal with.
It’s an illness that both genders can get but, it seems many men don’t want to talk about it, whether it be that they may feel less masculine or that men aren’t supposed to have feelings. It is changing, slowly, but it’s changing. Majestic Man speak to Paul Hurst, who has agreed to be named as he wanted to speak openly to show that men can talk about it and deal with and manage the illness to keep his mental health at a manageable level.
We also speak to professional Mental Health nurse, Alexandra Hunter. She has dealt with many cases and understands from a professional point of view and combined with her genuine interest and care in mental health.
