The Weeknd and H&M unveil “Spring Icon” Collection

The Weeknd, a.k.a Abel Tesfaye, the Toronto born singer who is only 26 years old is already one of the world’s most celebrated artists and performers.

This artist has a lot going on from running the record and clothing label XO to touring around the world rapping and singing his fourth album, Starboy.

The cherry on top is that he will be the face of H&M’s upcoming menswear collection Spring Icons selected by the man himself, this collection was first announced last year but is scheduled to arrive in stores worldwide on 2 March.

We have a sneak peek of what will be included in the collection, there is a general theme running through out which is, street wear vibe with a mix of classic gentlemen esque style. “I had a great time selecting my Spring Icons at H&M. I love the mix of urban pieces like bombers and hoodies with tailored shirts and blazers. Every piece is both effortless and fresh, which is just how menswear should be,” said Abel. (

H&M Head of Design for menswear, Andreas Lowenstam, who said: “Abel’s taste and style perfectly fits the menswear mood of the season at H&M. He has such a great eye for the little details that matter, and for mixing together updated men’s classics for the perfect tailored street wear look.” (
